A Quote Concerning Christ's Sheep.

"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me" (John 10:27).

"It is no small consolation to godly teachers that, although the larger part of the world does not listen to Christ, He has His sheep whom He knows and by whom He is also known. They must do their utmost to bring the whole world into Christ's fold, but when they do not succeed as they would wish, they must be satisfied with the single thought that those who are sheep will be collected together by their work."

John Calvin.

A Biblical Answer To Sodom By Pastor Ralph Ovadal.

Here is a message on the issue of Homosexuality, titled: "A Biblical Answer To Sodom" due to the previous post I put up concerning New Calvinist Tim Keller and his foolish and damnable statement that: "You don't go to Hell for being a Homosexual." I think is is very alarming that a huge majority of Evangelicals are dropping the ball on the issue of Homosexuality and the Biblical response. When these so-called leaders lie and make statements like the one that Mr. Keller made, that is hatred (Leviticus 19:17) and it does not present true Biblical love towards the Hellbound sodomite who is our neighbor (Proverbs 27:5; Matthew 22:39). True Christians need to tell these sodomites the truth about their sin which is perversion and therefore abominable in the sight of God whose eyes cannot look upon evil (Habakkuk 1:13).

New Calvinist Tim Keller States That Homosexuals Do Not End Up In Hell.

Tim Keller is the senior pastor of "Redeemer Presbyterian Church" in New York City, New York. He is a New Calvinist and one of the many Seeker-Sensitive false teachers and compromisers out there. Here is a video clip of him telling an interviewer that Homosexuality does not send those who practice it to Hell. Yes, you heard right, an Evangelical Pastor (so-called) stated that Homosexuals will not go to Hell. The rotten fruits of the New Calvinism at it's best. Tim Keller is a wolf in sheep's clothing (Matthew 7:15) and in the spirit of Romans 16:17-18. True and sincere Christians who love the word of God need to stay away from him and expose him as well. Please click here to read what the Bible does say about Homosexuality and what happens to those who practice such an abominable lifestyle. Thank you.

A.W. Pink Concerning Women Pastors.

A huge majority of the mainline denominations have failed concerning these "commandments of the Lord" (1 Corinthians 14:37). But here is a word from A.W. Pink concerning the abominable practices of women pastors and women speaking in the churches:

Even ‘orthodox’ Christendom now has a religion of its own, True there is quite a little in it which is scriptural – as there was in the case of the Pharisees, as there is in the case of the Romanists – but there is also much that is unscriptural and anti-scriptural, and it is that which proves (to one governed by the Word) that the Holy Spirit is not behind it. The Holy Spirit has commanded , ‘let your women keep silence in the churches’ [1 Cor14;34]; then will the Holy spirit now prompt testimony meetings and mixed prayer meetings where women are encouraged to speak before men? It would be blasphemy to say so.

Test them! God commands us to ‘try’ or ‘test’ them. See 1 John 4:1 and observe how Christ commended the church at Ephesus for testing (‘trying’) those who claimed to be apostles – Revelation 2:2.

But how are we to test them? Apply the principle of 2 Timothy 4:3; to see if they are teaching ‘sound doctrine’. One part of that ‘sound doctrine’ is the silence of women in the churches – compare 1Timothy 2;12 and 13 – read to them 1 Corinthians 14:34 and see if they will endure that! If their hearts are in subjection to God, they will; they will thank you for enlightening them, they will confess and forsake their error. But if their hearts are not in subjection, if in spite of all their seeming sanctity and devotion to the Lord, they are really determined to have their own way, they will quibble, argue, and refuse the light you bring from God’s Word.

Try it out and see for yourself! Approach them meekly and lovingly: tell them that 1 Corinthians 14:34 is so plain that it cannot be misunderstood, that it is one of the divine commands for us to obey. Take your stand on that verse firmly and you will not only find that its ‘sound doctrine’ will not be ‘endured’ by them, but they will quickly show that you are not wanted by them!

God's Sovereign Control Over Sin.

It is laid down as a firm foundation, that “known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world,” Acts 15:18. Every thing, then, that in any respect may be called his work, is known unto him from all eternity. Now, what in the world, if we may speak as he hath taught us, can be exempted from this denomination? Even actions in themselves sinful are not; though not as sinful, yet in some other regard, as punishments of others. “Behold,” saith Nathan to David, in the name of God, “I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun; for thou didst it secretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel,” 2 Sam. 12:11, 12. So, also, when wicked robbers had nefariously spoiled Job of all his substance, the holy man concludeth, “The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away,” chap. 1:21. Now, if the working of God’s providence be so mighty and effectual, even in and over those actions wherein the devil and men do most maliciously offend, as did Absalom and the Sabean with the Chaldean thieves, that it may be said to be his work, and he may be said to “do it” (I crave liberty to use the Scripture phrase), then certainly nothing in the world, in some respect or other, is independent of his all-disposing hand; yea, Judas himself betraying our Saviour did nothing but “For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.” Acts 4:28, in respect of the event of the thing itself. And if these actions, notwithstanding these two hinderances,—first, that they were contingent, wrought by free agents, working according to election and choice; secondly, that they were sinful and wicked in the agents,—had yet their dependence on his purpose and determinate counsel, surely he hath an interest of operation in the acts of every creature. But his works, as it appears before, are all known unto him from the beginning, for he worketh nothing by chance or accidentally, but all things determinately, according to his own decree, or “the counsel of his own will,” Eph. 1:11.

We Can Never Hear Too Much About Christ By J.C. Ryle.

To know Christ is life eternal. To believe Christ is to have peace with God. To follow Christ is to be a true Christian. To be with Christ is heaven itself. We can never hear too much about Christ

Jesus is a name, which is peculiarly sweet and precious to believers. … It has given them what money cannot buy, even inward peace. It has eased their wearied consciences, and given rest to their heavy hearts. … Happy is that person, who trusts not merely in vague notions of God’s mercy and goodness, but in “Jesus.”

A.W. Pink Quote Concerning Silly Women.

“How striking it is that we should read of “silly women” in this inspired list of “last days” characteristics! How remarkably this is fulfilled in modern Feminism! Observe the words “led away with divers lusts,” which might be freely rendered “ambitious desires.” This craving for publicity, this deplorable masculinity, this denial of man’s headship, this usurping of authority, is one of the most s...triking Signs of the Times. We refer, not only to the modern Suffragette movement which makes every self-respecting woman blush for shame at the immodesty of her sisters, but also to the attitude and position taken by so many “silly women” in the churches. How sad it is to see the plain command of God —

“Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak” (1 Corinthians 14:84)

— now so generally disregarded. Today there are not a few who unblushingly denounce the inspired apostle as “an old bachelor with narrow ideas”.” —A. W. Pink (1886–1952)
